So what's up?

Its been a long while since I last wrote a blog entry. There has been so much going on in my life lately and it will definitely take more than just words to write them all out. So I will just briefly run them through.

Currently I am pursuing a University of London degree in Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). I chose to major in Business partly due to the fact that its versatile and I will be able to embark on many different fields of the corporate and non-corporate world once I graduate *fingers crossed*. I have just completed my freshman year and awaiting my results to continue my second year. Well, you can say I'm on my school vacation now too. However, I am also in the student council. Therefore, there are currently many preparations for the freshies who will be coming in for the new school year such as orientations, camps and the likes. So my schedule is slightly more occupied than I expected.

So, I would say that my absence would definitely be largely due to school. Yep. Being in the student council definitely gave me lots of experience in doing events. One of the stint in my council that I did would be the SIM-UOL Pageant 2012. School pageants are definitely one of the events that are mostly looked forward to kinda thing. So it really was my proudest accomplishments ever. Especially when you are undertaking the marketing for the event. It was seriously no joke planning all those marketing collateral but together as a team, we managed to pull it through. It was really awesome and fruitful. Something that I would never regret even if no one knew how much I had to pull through.

One of my favorite part of the whole journey would definitely be the photo shoot. I was appointed as the shoot directer and had to plan almost everything for the shoot from start to end. I love it so much!

We were also featured on STOMP!
Everything was bittersweet when it ended. I love my team!
Its definitely something that will not succeed without each and everyone's effort.

Besides the pageant, being in uni gave me many new friends as well. Previously I had many friends who were still pretty young and maybe not that (sic)mature(sic) yet. But in uni, definitely most people would definitely be more matured and grown up. That would be one of the things I loved and appreciate the most. FRIENDS!

Me with Geraldine and Syakeel. Two of my most trusted friends in uni.

There's also my secondary school friend Debbie whom I got closer to in uni. Didn't know her that well when I was in secondary school. But now, she's one of my new confidante.

As for my and my boyfriend, we are still going strong after 3 years together. There were many ups and downs, but hey..what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? Our love for each other are really deep and it will only get deeper as the days go by. Bad things happens all the time, even when times are tough, two will always be better than one. We lack many things, but we still have each other and that is what matters most.

I love you baby!

Shall try to write more and upload more from now on because documenting one's life is really important. Memories come and go everyday. If we don't write them down, they will just become a passing thought one day.

Do follow me on my instagram too @annabelchua as I upload pictures there pretty often.

Wrapping up 2011

Hell Yeah!!! Its already going to the end of 2011 and this is only the fifth post of the year? wheeeeee

2011 honestly is the year of many new experiences, one that should be learnt from or maybe well best forgotten. So many shit happened this year that I kinda do not want to go through the bad parts though. But of course there are good stuffs that happened, even if there's very lil things to talk about the good one though. Aite, let's start then.....

2011

 1. Graduation
I have finally graduated from Polytechnic! Got a Diploma...like finally!!! I know its not much but come on..I'm only 20! Forgive the exclamation marks. Anyway, I did not go for my grad day at all. Found it too overrated and went to pick up my Diploma on another day instead. But still, grad ain't all about robes and hats, it means you've finally accomplished what you have stepped into school at Poly for the first day and have come all the way to well...here.

 2. Jobs
Jobs, and I mean jobs and not career. I have just gotten a Diploma, so I'm kinda switching in between jobs alot just cause I wanna find what kinda career path/route I really like before settling down or going to University to further studies in that particular area. So yep. And yes, I mean switch, cos I kinda switch between jobs quite alot! This is like my third one in a year already and I'm thinking of switching again. I know it ain't that good for my resume but... I'm 20, if I don't get to experiment and try out different things now, I might regret it later.

 3. Friends
With so many different jobs that I take up, of course I'll get to meet friends from here and there. That's one of the perks I would say. I get to meet many people from different ages, race and country. It was really a very wonderful experience.

 4. New Phone
I got myself a Blackberry 9900 all by myself. Have been using a really really old phone for quite a while already. I would say getting a new phone by yourself is like getting a house with your very own money. Heh. Its worthwhile.

 5. Lost weight
Okay, might be exaggerating here. But I did lose 1.5 kg alrighty!

 6. Responsibility
Once I started work, all expenses from my mum is cut off. So I gotta pay my own bills, pay for my own shopping and grocery, you name it. It was hard, still hate it. But hey, you'll get used to it.

7. The Boyfriend
1 1/2 years already it a really damn long time. I love my baby

Well, that's all that is good for 2011. The rest is kinda crappy. Wish to just forget about them that's all. Can't wait for 2012. No really, 2012 will definitely be so much better. *cross fingers*

Shall do a 2012 resolutions? We'll see.....

Tag : 10 things I like about a guy

Saw this post on elleandblair.com
Thought it would be quite cute to do one post on it as well.

1. He must be big and tall. I've always like guys who are big and tall as they kinda give a sense of security (:

2. Must love to cuddle with me

3. He needs to be able to tell me I'm wrong when I'm wrong and not just support any nonsense I want

4. Gotta go on movie dates with me

5. Always be by my side when I need him

6. He must make me smile

7. Must smell awesome! Hee

8. Sing me love songs once in a while

9. Talks about me to his friends, in a good way of course. It makes me feel like I'm not out of his life

10. Must love me.

Yep, pretty simple list. Ha.

Bel
