Tag : 10 things I like about a guy

Saw this post on elleandblair.com
Thought it would be quite cute to do one post on it as well.

1. He must be big and tall. I've always like guys who are big and tall as they kinda give a sense of security (:

2. Must love to cuddle with me

3. He needs to be able to tell me I'm wrong when I'm wrong and not just support any nonsense I want

4. Gotta go on movie dates with me

5. Always be by my side when I need him

6. He must make me smile

7. Must smell awesome! Hee

8. Sing me love songs once in a while

9. Talks about me to his friends, in a good way of course. It makes me feel like I'm not out of his life

10. Must love me.

Yep, pretty simple list. Ha.

Work!

I have already graduated from polytechnic...like finally! Already been working at a telco as a call centre agent for about close to 4 months now. Though it was hard to get by at first cos its pretty new to me but i feel one really does get the hang of things when they have been doing it for long

I feel that working really helps one change perspectives in lives whereby you get to experience a whole lot of new things, make new friends and really start to have a sense of responsibility.

When I started work my mum totally cut off allowance from me, I've got bills to pay, meals to eat and shopping for clothes to work. As well as splurging on things I want to buy. I'm like starting to feel so stress up cos everyday I'm thinking, "how do i get through my next meal?", "i have mobile bills to pay and so many outstanding?". Seriously, I have never stressed much about my next meal until now. Its like waking up and finally realizing that I could really starve to death without working for money to get me through.

I have so many things especially gadgets that I neeeeeeed to get. Such as a laptop (currently using bf's) and a handphone (I'm using a really old nokia model with no colour or camera). And even thinking about getting new ones make me so stress out because if I were to get these items I really can never get through and hold up till my next month's salary.

Now I realize how my mum have to get through to support not just me but my siblings as well. Adult life is hard but very worth it. I will not look back and go straight ahead as I have so many things to look forward to and fulfil. It really is very experiencing. Goodbye old me and hello to the new gonna-grow-up-me. I'm a big girl now, finally I can get to say that. Yay (Y)!

The woes of growing up.

I bet everyone has gone through the stage that when they were kids, all they can think about is to grow up FAST in order to do what they want like their parents aka have all the money in the world. But what one doesn't know is the whole facade our parents have to put up in order for us to live happily like how kids should.

First of all, what one doesn't know is that Spiderman's Uncle Ben is ABSOLUTELY right about having great power comes greater responsibility. Because when one grows up, they have much more knowledge and authority, they are much more aware about what's going on and what they have to do.

When we're kids, we think working is just going out of the house to get money and go home, that's all. But its so much deeper than that. Work is one of the worst things ever. No one really loves to work, they ALTER themselves to like working.

And who says working is bringing in the cash? As you work, the more things you will NEED to buy and more bills to pay. If one thinks its easy, think again.

One should treasure life as much as possible. Happiness that comes easily doesn't last long. You'll know as you grow up.
